The FG Sonra 3D Adjustable Hook and Band is a versatile accessory designed for heavy-duty single and double gates. The benefit of the hinge is that it offers you 3D adjustability to adjust the gate for your exact desired position. Not only do you get a lateral and vertical movement the hinge allows you to adjust the gate in and out away from the posts.

Installing the FG Sonra 3D Adjustable Hook and Band is straightforward. The hinge is fitted in the same way as any other traditional hinge. All fitting instructions will be in the box. There is no need for specialised tools. All fixings will be included in the package.  


What materials are used in the construction of the FG Sonra 3D Adjustable Hook and Band, and is it durable? 
The hinge is manufactured from high-carbon steel for maximum strength. It is then protected with a durable Z-tec coating which has been specially designed for high-corrosion outdoor spaces.  

 
 Is this product suitable for heavy gates?  
The hinge is designed specifically for heavy solid timber gates. There are clear guidelines in the instructions about carrying capacity. But on a typical height of 1.8m high and 1.5m wide this hinge will carry up to 100kg (note if you are fitting auto opening device, please speak to an installer to ensure you are abiding by all guidelines for installation.
