The benefit of this lock is that it offers you a key cylinder on the outside, but a thumb-turn lock on the inside providing easy inside locking. We have 2 sizes 50mm and 70mm. The 50mm is designed for gates of thickness of 35mm to 50mm. The 70mm is designed for gates from 55mm to 70mm.

What is the long throw feature of this deadlock, and why is it important?

The long throw is the amount of travel the bolt is extended when locked. This is up to 65mm. The benefit of this is security it prevents the gate from being pried open with crowbars to disengage the bolt.
